Bandai Namco released new clips of its upcoming free-to-play first-person shooter Gundam Evolution, showcasing one of its playable mobile suits.
Shared on the official Twitter account of the game, several videos show off the super-classic MS-06 Zaku II, which debuted all the way back in the original Mobile Suit Gundam series.
It’s an agile mobile suit that can get close to the enemy with its boost steps and then withdraw under the cover of its smoke dispensers.
We see the iconic ZMP-50D 120mm Machine Gun that has an excellent rate of full-auto fire, delivering consistent damage on enemies. The MIP-B6 Cracker Grenade can deal area damage, while another video shows the smoke dispenser mentioned above.
The last video showcases the G-Maneuver called Heat Hawk Rush, focusing on the iconic Heat Hawk Type 5 thermal axe. You can dash toward enemies and slash them, while dealing damage and applying a stun.
In case you have missed the original reveal and the first gameplay, Gundam Evolution is a free-to-play first-person shooter for PC (Windows 10 is required) that will let you choose a mecha from the franchise and wreak havoc in 6 vs . 6 battles.
There are three modes, point capture, domination, and destruction, and voice chat is supported.
