We meet Tsugumi Nazar, who has been in the force that fights the others (OSF) for twelve years.

She is extremely shy and has large issues talking to other people. That being said, she never loses her cool in battle, so she’s a very skilled fighter. Her power is Clarvoyance.

Gemma Garrison has been in the OSF for a whole 38 years and his power is Hardening.

He’s quiet and calm. The OSF usually utilizes methods that slow down aging (due to the fact that brain power declines with the aging of the brain), but Gemma is starting to show the signs of time and look older than the rest of the team. This means that the time for his retirement is coming close, but it’s also evidence that he is a reliable veteran and a combat expert who has survived many battles.

Luka Travers has been in the OSF for 22 years and his power is Teleportation.

He looks like a nice boy who could be mistaken for a girl, but he is a cool soldier who can analyze every situation with a calm mind and make the right decision.

He has a lot of experience and he ranks high within the army. His ability is plenty to be counted among the elite Septentrion.

We also hear more about Kasane Randall, who has just been revealed as the second playable protagonist. She is a new recruit in the OSF and her power is Psychokinesis.

She is cool, rational, and indifferent to other people, an elite with an exceptional fighting sense and incredible brain power. She was scouted by the OSF and graduated at the top of her class at the training academy.

She often dreams of a red thread but she does not know what it means, which leaves her wondering.

If you’re unfamiliar with the game, here’s how Bandai Namco describes Scarlet Nexus.

“In the far distant future, a psionic hormone has been discovered in the human brain, granting people extra-sensory powers and changing the world as we know it.

As humanity enters this new era, deranged mutants known as Others begin to descend from the sky with a hunger for human brains. Impervious to conventional weapons, those with acute extra-sensory abilities, known as psychics, are our only chance to fight the onslaught from above and preserve humanity.

Since that fateful day psychics have been scouted for their talents and recruited to the Other Suppression Force, humanity’s last line of defense.

Players will dive into a complex story of bonds, courage and heroism crafted by the minds behind the iconic TALES OF game, TALES OF VESPERIA. Using psycho-kinetic powers, the world becomes an important ally. Lift, break, and hurl pieces of the environment to build attack combos and lay waste to enemies.”

Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
