In the video below you can hear the lowdown of the acquisition directly from Spencer himself.

He also talks about Game Pass and the issue with Apple. On top of that we also hear Spencer’s outlook for Xbox Series X and Series S pre-orders.

Spencer mentions that Microsoft s “very bullish” on how pre-orders are going to go as they have both the most powerful and most affordable consoles on the market. He also talks about the convenience of the All Access plan.

You can watch it below.

Incidentally, Spencer also confirms that Microsoft is going to honor the commitments made prior to the acquisition, like the temporary PS5 exclusives of  Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo.

The Xbox Series X is priced at $499, while the Series S’ price is $299. They will both release on November 10 and pre-orders start tomorrow.

It’ll be interesting to see if the new consoles will hit the ground running unlike their predecessor. One thing is certain: Microsoft seems more and more determined to take the big guns to the next-generation battle.
