There’s a Monster Hunter Franchise Sale on the Switch/3DS eShop Right Now

Following the reveal of Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2 during a Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase earlier this week, Capcom has discounted every single Monster Hunter title that’s currently available to play on the Switch and on the 3DS eShop.

If you saw that Monster Hunter Rise presentation the other day and wondered “gee, how does one get into the Monster Hunter series?” Well, now you have a way to dive right in with a low introductory price.

Here are the titles and their discounted price currently on the eShop. It’s worth noting that this sale will come to an end at 11:59 pm PT on Oct 1.

  • Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate (Switch) – $15.99 – previously $39.99
  • Monster Hunter Stories (3DS) – $19.99 – previously $39.99
  • Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (3DS) – $5.99 – previously $19.99
  • Monster Hunter Generations (3DS) – $15.99 – previously $39.99
  • Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (3DS) – $8.99 – previously $29.99

Well, there you have it. You can purchase all five of these Monster Hunter titles for less than $70, which is just an insane and totally amazing deal for anyone interested in trying this series out.

Personally, as a Monster Hunter fan myself, I would try out Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate on the Nintendo Switch if you’re not sure where to start. There’s so much content to dive into, it’s a portable game that looks great on the Switch, and the online modes work perfectly fine for some sweet co-op play with friends.
