The Gunk, a new game from Image & Form Games, is coming to the Xbox family of consoles, as well as PC. It will also be on Xbox Game Pass. There are no details on the release date of the game other than it will come out in 2021.
The Gunk lets you explore an alien planet that is plague by… you guessed it, a mysterious gunk like fluid. You explore different environments while sucking up gunk that looks reminiscent of the vacuum mechanic from Luigi’s Mansion.
Image & Form is a Swedish Developer that is known for the SteamWorld series of game, of which their most popular titles are SteamWorld Dig and SteamWorld Heist.
The developers have a long history of having timed console exclusivity and then later porting their games to be multi-platform. It is not confirmed if The Gunk will be an Xbox and PC exclusive or if it will be multi-platform.
