Muv-Luv Expo Lineup Announced; Promises News on Games, Anime Marathon, & More

As mentioned with the previous announcement, the Muv-Luv Expo is a livestreamed event dedicated to the popular franchise, but this time around it’s mainly for the western audience, replacing the developers’ participation at Anime Expo, which won’t happen in physical form this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The schedule includes news on upcoming games, the broadcast of the full Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse anime with commentary by creator Kouki Yoshimune, mini-concerts, a Q&A panel, and more.

You can watch it here starting at 6:00 pm PDT on July 1.

Below you can read the full lineup and take a look at the event’s illustration featuring the new mascot characters Cherno-chan and Lux-tan, who are the waifu versions of a Su-37 Terminator and of a Laser-Class BETA.

  • An Info panel with all the up-to-date info on their dark action RPG game Project MIKHAIL, their upcoming strategy/action RPG game Project Immortal, and announcements for which games the company will bring over next.
  • A YouTube Live watch party of the Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse anime.
  • 24 episodes of commentary tracks for Total Eclipse by the creator of Muv-Luv, Kouki Yoshimune.
  • Mini-concerts from singers Minami Kuribayashi and Aki Misato, featuring songs from the Muv-Luv games and the Total Eclipse anime.
  • A Q&A Panel where users can chat with the creators. Users can submit questions during the event or to the company’s twitter account, @MuvLuvSeries
  • Ultra-rare digital merchandise.

Incidentally, the first day will include only the first six episodes of Total Eclipse. Episodes from 7 to 24 will be aired on July 2 starting at 6:00 pm PDT.
