Today, during the Guerrilla Collective show, [email protected] director Chris Charla provided some insight about Microsoft’s plans for indie developers and the next generation.
We hear from Charla that Xbox Series X devkits have already been sent to indie developers and and “tons more” are going to be sent this summer.
He also added that [email protected] is “full steam ahead on next-gen.”
If you’re not familiar with [email protected], it’s Microsoft’s initiative to support indie game developers on its platforms.
It was launched in 2014 shortly after the debut of the Xbox One after the announcement at Gamescom 2013. It has been active in the industry for approximately six years.
