Today Microsoft announced that the first look at Xbox Series X gameplay will be revealed soon.
To be precise, the reveal is going to come on May 7 during a new Inside Xbox livestream.
The games will be from “global developers partners” (IE: third-party studos) and the broadcast will be at 8:00 am PDT.
We also hear from Xbox Games marketing boss Aaron Greenberg that Microsoft’s own first-party studios are hard at work on “big summer plans.”
The event was recently teased by Xbox division head Phil Spencer himself, and looks like Microsoft is poised to deliver soon.
A few days ago, a trademark possibly revealed the logo of the Xbox Series X. You can also watch a video talking about its technology and a couple of trailers showcasing fast loading times and the quick resume feature.
If you want to hear more from Phil Spencer, you can also read some interesting comments about power and pricing of the new console.
Recently, he also put to rest rumors about a revival of Scalebound.
The Xbox Series X is slated for a release in the Holiday season 2020, even if we don’t have a precise launch date just yet.
Incidentally, just yesterday Microsoft revealed that Xbox Game Pass passed 10 million subscribers, while Xbox Live had nearly 90 million monthly active users during the past quarter.
