Today the official account of the game responded a question mentioning that for the moment there are no plans to lock other regions out of the game.

You can read the relevant tweet below.

The Twitter account also clarified that there is still no information about potential releases in any other region besides the United States and Canada.

The localized version of Phantasy Star Online 2 (with English and Japanese voice acting included) for Xbox One with a closed beta starting next month.

Phil Spencer himself went on record mentioning that the game will likely make it to other platforms, but we have no solid info about that.

In the meanwhile, Sega is preparing to launch the sixth expansion on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in Japan, where the game is still going strong, enough to get a physical release.
