This time around it’s all about one of the most relevant elements of Crusader Kings, the lifestyle gameplay that lets players lead their rules on certain paths.

In Crusader Kings 3 selecting a lifestyle leads to a further selection among three different focuses.

Each will then lead to different events and unlocking many perks, forging our ruler into that seductive brutal mastermind (or anything else really) that we want.

You can watch the video below.

Crusader Kings 3 is set for a Steam release in 2020.

If you’d like to know more, you can enjoy the original announcement and another video of the series, and the previous one focusing on Schemes, The Council, Character Portraits, Courts, and More.

Incidentally, Crusader Kings 2 is currently free on Steam and if you haven’t tried it, you’re doing it wrong.

While it’s a bit lacking in terms of accessibility, it’s one of the most fun games I’ve ever played if you’re willing to invest some time into understanding its ins and outs. Especially its emergent gameplay and roleplay opportunities are what makes me so excited for Crusader Kings 3.
