Twinfinite recently talked with the developer’s president Yoshimi Yasuda, and he revealed that the studio is gearing up to enter the next-generation race.

More precisely, Yasuda-san mentioned that a company requested the Tokyo-based Game Studio to develop a PS5 game, more precisely with its development team that created God Wars.

He added that Kadokawa Games is very eager to move forward with that project even if negotiations are still undergoing. We’ll have to wait and see if something materializes.

Of course, this is far from everything Yasuda-san told us, so you should stay tuned on Twinfinite for two interviews, one focusing on Root Film, and the other on Project Stella.

Kadokawa Games is also currently working on multiple projects from the Metal Max franchise, including Metal Max Xeno Reborn, Metal Max Xeno Reborn 2, and a mysterious title known as “Code Zero.” If you’re curious about that, you can check out our recent interview with Producer Juntaro Kohno.

On top of that, they also have the improved re-release LoveR Kiss for PS4 and Nintendo Switch in the pipeline.
