Jotun Valhalla Edition

It’s that time again: another free offering has hit the Epic Games Store and this week it is Jotun: Valhalla Edition.

Jotun: Valhalla Edition is a “hand-drawn action-exploration” game set in Norse mythology, so those who have played the most recent God of War might find some crossover between them as far as lore is concerned.

You play as the Viking warrior Thora, who died “ingloriously” and must prove herself worthy of rest in Valhalla. The player must battle their way through massive bosses to earn the right of an afterlife. For a little more information about what the Valhalla Edition entails, Twinfinite’s previous coverage of the game should help.

Those wanting to pick up this game for the low price of free have until Dec. 12. Once Jotun: Valhalla Edition’s free period ends the next game to be free will be The Escapists.

The Escapists is a top-down pixel-art strategy game that starts in a prison, with the player as a prisoner. The idea of the game is to escape the prison you are currently in using one of the many ways available to you that you must find using your keen sense of observation. Can you figure out how to get the guard’s keys, or do you want to try climbing through the vents?

Be sure to check back with Twinfinite over the course of the month for updates on future free games on the Epic Games Store.
