Spencer talked about Xbox Game Studios, mentioning that looking forward he can’t see a show where Microsoft won’t announce new first-party games.

According to the executive, there are so many games in development compared to so few shows, that gamers should get used to this.

He also explained that he’s been on a plane from Seattle to Tokyo quite a few times lately, and it’s great to be able to announce the Yakuza and Kingdom Hearts games coming to Xbox.

Spencer added that he is aware that he has more work to do on this front. He hears the feedback about franchise that gamers want on Xbox platforms, and he will continue to work hard to bring the games people want.

Microsoft has been acquiring quite a few studios over the last couple of years, and they seem to be beginning to deliver results. It’s nice to see them starting to bolster their lineup of games.

If you believe there was one very relevant game missing among today’s announcement, there was more on top of what was announced on stage. Spencer mentioned one very dear to my heart behind closed doors.

He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
