How to Summon Vehicle on the Moon in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep

The very start of the Shadowkeep expansion puts you on the Moon, where you’re tasked with clearing out waves of Hive enemies before you can progress. During this first bit of the first mission, you won’t be able to summon your Sparrow at all.

However, once you get through the first objective, the pathway ahead will clear up, and you’ll hear from Zavala over the comms that he’ll now be able to send reinforcements to clear out the enemies in front of the Scarlet Keep. At this point, you should be able to summon your vehicle as per normal.

Just bring up the Ghost by pressing the Tab key on PC (touchpad on PS4, or the View button on Xbox One), then hold the E key (square on PS4, X or on Xbox One). The controls are exactly the same as in previous iterations of Destiny 2, and you’ll be able to ride around the open world on your Sparrow, with exceptions in smaller, more enclosed areas of course.

And as always, you’ll need to wait a short period of time if your vehicle happens to get destroyed before you can summon it again.

After clearing the first mission, you’ll be able to summon your vehicle on the Moon at anytime you want.

That’s all you need to know about how to summon your vehicle on the Moon in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep. Be sure to check our Shadowkeep guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
