Developer CD Projekt Red has just revealed a new physical card game, Cyberpunk 2077 – Afterlife: The Card Game, due to launch next year.

Created in collaboration with international board game publisher CMON!, the game will take place deep within the dark alleyways and dangerous corners of Night City. Players will take the roles of Fixers, mysterious databrokers and clever masterminds of the city.

As a Fixer, you’ll recruit cyberpunks and outfit them with fancy gear to be used on special missions. Each successful mission will raise your Street Cred which gives mission survivors valuable experience that turns them into Veterans.

With this knowledge and wisdom, these Veterans will be able to give insight to new and unseasoned recruits.

To top it all off, players will also need to manage their money, balancing between buying what they want, what they need, and what they can actually afford.

Cyberpunk 2077 – Afterlife: The Card Game doesn’t have a specified release date yet but it’s expected to be out and playable in 2020; presumably, in the same window as the upcoming and highly anticipated open-world RPG on which it is based.
