Peter Parker gets a couple of snazzy new suits in Spider-Man: Far From Home, and these two new suits will be coming to Marvel’s Spider-Man on PS4 as a free DLC pack.
It was confirmed today by a now oddly deleted tweet from the PlayStation Japan Twitter account that Peter’s slick new Upgrade suit and Stealth suit from the movie will be available for free to players.
The game already boasts a huge and insanely varied array of suits that Spidey can wear, from the movies, comics, and even the cartoon series. Picking out the best suit for job – or even just one that you think looks cool – is something fans have praised the game for repeatedly.
Insomniac has already released images of the two new suits in action, which you can check out below. Both suits will be available later today as a tie in the theater release of Spider-Man: Far From Home.
These two new additions bring up the number of MCU-inspired suits in the game to five, with the original MCU Spider-Man suit, the Iron Spider suit, and Pete’s homemade, pre-Tony Stark suit rounding out the rest. Suits from other Spidey movies have also been added, including the Spider-Verse suit and the highly-demanded Raimi suit from the original movie trilogy.
With Marvel’s Spider-Man, Insomniac continues to match Spidey fans in their enthusiasm for the hero by including references to all his cross-media incarnations. The only thing left for them to do is work in the much-asked-for black suit from Spider-Man 3.
