To be precise the trailer showcases a deep look at the current and upcoming lineup and ends by boasting “over 2480 games and counting” on the platform.

We get to see titles like Splatoon 2, Cuphead, Mortal Kombat XI, Luigi’s Mansion 3, Pokemon Sword & Shield, Panzer Dragoon, Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition, Daemon X Machina, Astral Chain, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, Dragon Quest Builders 2, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch, Trails of Mana, Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020, Minecraft Dungeons, Contra Rogue Corps, Dauntless, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, and many more.

On top of that, we also get the message that those games are “for every gamer.”

You can check the video out for yourself below and see if it entices you.

It’s not rare to hear people mentioning that the Switch doesn’t have games, and while it’s true that there are many titles that either aren’t published on Nintendo’s console or come later, that kind of judgment is at the very least largely exaggerated.

Proud weeb hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long-standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
