We get to see plenty of flying around in the world of the anime, and a look at some of the characters that we’ll meet there.

Interestingly, the “life simulation” aspects of this game are rather strong, and there is plenty of cooking, eating, and even fishing. That being said, our hero Goku isn’t just your everyday fisherman, so he doesn’t need a rod. He actually uses his tail.

You can check out the full recording of the livestream below and take a good look at Goku’s wonderful (not always, I guess) life as our friendly neighborhood Saiyan.

If you want to learn more about Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, you can read our interview with Director Ryosuke Hara, who explains that the game will show you interactions among characters that you have never seen before in the franchise.

You can also watch the most recent trailer and plenty of screenshots.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot releases in early 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Interestingly, the game will come with both English and Japanese voiceovers. Whichever option you favor, Bandai Namco has got you covered.
