Today Square Enix turned the last page on the Final Fantasy XV saga with the release of the novel The Dawn of the Future.
In order to celebrate, Square Enix took to Twitter to thank the fans and release the full cover art of the novel which portrays Noctis, Luna, Ravus, and Regis in what looks like a definitely different outcome compared to the game.

ここまで走り続けてこれたのは、間違いなくファンの皆さまのおかげです。

The tweet also includes a message of thanks for the fans.
“The fact that we’ve come so far is definitely thanks to all the fans. Thank you very much for your continued support of Final Fantasy XV. From the whole development team, thank you very much.
Even from now on, please watch over Noctis and the gang who received a new ending.”
I won’t lie: this made me tear up a little.
Unfortunately, the novel is all we’re getting after most of the DLC from the A New Dawn series have been canceled. If you want a glimpse of what could have been, you can check out more artwork showing Aranea Highwind in her military uniform.
The Episode Ardyn DLC recently launched for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Final Fantasy XV is currently available for the same platforms.
