Latest Trailer for The Division 2 Showcases Impressive Xbox One X Enhancements; “Every Detail Matters”

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

Today during an eventful episode of Inside Xbox,Ubisoft slipped in a sizzle reel for the upcoming third-person shooter, The Division 2. While it’s light on gameplay compared to other recently released trailers, it instead focused on breaking down all of the ways that The Division 2 will step things up a notch performance wise with the Xbox One X.

The Division 2’s Xbox One X enhancements will include native 4K, High Dynamic Range (HDR), and Dolby Atmos Spatial Audio. See it in action for yourself below:

Of course, The Division 2 will still look quite nice whether you’re playing on a regular ol’ Xbox One, a PS4, or a PS4 Pro, but Xbox One X owners that have the right 4K TV set up and are able to take advantage of these features will be in for a treat, that’s for sure.

It’ll be interesting to see how being set in the United States’ capital will impact the story, but we know for sure that the setting is going to be a lot different looking at least. Gone are the snowy, wintery streets of New York City, and in its stead is a much more colorful and green DC landscape.

Fans can expect the familiar looter-shooter gameplay with a deeper end game and far more varied Dark Zone areas to explore this time around in the sequel.

The Division 2 has soft launched already for owners of premium editions of the game, and will be released worldwide to everyone this Friday on March 15.
