Despite its mixed reception in the west, Anthem managed to debut at the top of the charts with almost 78,000 units sold, which isn’t bad at all for a western game.
Interestingly, the NieR: Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition enter the charts with over 21,000 copies sold, which is quite flattering for something that isn’t even a remaster, but it’s actually just a re-release with DLC included, which is rather unusual in Japan to begin with. This is a testament to just how popular and successful the title has become since its release.
On the other hand, both Girls und Panzer: Dream Tank Match DX and the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy fall into the usual issue that affects re-releases and remasters, selling rather poorly on Nintendo Switch and PS4.
On the hardware side, the Nintendo Switch keeps selling strongly, despite the absence of sales-enhancing new releases.
