One Piece: World Seeker Gets New Gameplay Showing Side Quest and Battle

During a stage event from Taipei Game Show, Bandai Namco showcased new clips of gameplay of its upcoming open-world adventure One Piece: World Seeker.

In the first clip below, recorded by Youtube user TopGaime, we get to see some battle gameplay as Luffy goes toe-to-toe against a few enemies belonging to the Navy faction.

The second clip showcases a meeting with Trafalgar D. Water Law, which provides a side quest that can bring the player off the beaten path.

So far One Piece: World Seeker certainly seems to be very much akin to other open-world games coming mostly from western developers, at least in its basic gameplay structure. It’ll be interesting to see if the anime setting and battle system will set it apart.

You can check both out below. If you want to see more, you can watch some more gameplay from Jump Festa, a gameplay trailer from last month, alongside the opening cutscene, some recent screenshots showing off Luffy’s Gear Fourth form, and another trailer.

If you’re interested in the anime, you can also check out the anniversary trailer that teased new adventures for this year.

One Piece: World Seeker will finally be released on March 15, 2019, in North America and Europe for Ps4, Xbox One, and PC.
