Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet for PS4 and Switch Getting Leifang as Playable Character

This article is over 5 years old and may contain outdated information

When Koei Tecmo announced Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet for PS4 and Nintendo Switch, they also mentioned that a mysterious additional character would be added on top of Misaki from Venus Vacation. Now we know who she is.

The new heroine is (perhaps predictably) actually a returning entry, Leifang, who was left out from the original Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 release for PS4 and PlayStation Vita. She then came back in Venus Vacation last year. All of her assets are already made for the free to play PC game, so including her doesn’t appear to be that big of a deal.

If you want to see her in action, you can check out a video at the bottom of the post.

This also means that, unless Koei Tecmo decides to surprise us, the other new characters that have been added over time to Venus Vacation (Nagisa, Fiona, Tamaki, and Luna) will not be included at least at launch.

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet releases in Japan on March 20 for PS4 and Switch. No western release has been announced for the moment (and it probably never will, mind you). You can also check out the first trailer.
