The live broadcast will feature lead content designer Matt Cooper and lead hero designer Matt Villers alongside Heroes of the Storm Global Championship (HGC) casters Tim ‘Trikslyr’ Frazier and Thomas ‘Khaldor’ Kilian to detail the new content. The show is expected to be an hour long, and will host a match on the new map with the Heroes of the Storm development team. Those interested in watching can go to the game’s official Twitch channel at 1 p.m. ET.

The three-year-old game has been regularly adding new heroes to its roster recently with Starcraft’s Fenix joining last March and Diablo’s Deckard Cain in April. The new battleground will be the game’s first new map of 2018, after releasing Overwatch’s Hanamura and Volskaya Foundry last year. Blizzard later removed Hanamura from the map rotation to undergo gameplay changes with plans to bring it back.

Heroes of the Storm is currently in its Nexomania event with new cosmetic items and lucha-styled skins for several heroes including Diablo, E.T.C., Garrosh, Kharazim, Lunara, and Sonya. The event features a new questline where players pick a side and can earn seasonal rewards by completing objectives and winning matches.
