Ian Dallas, Creative Director at Giant Sparrow shared the news via Xbox Wire, revealing that the game will be available on the Xbox One from July 19. It’s worth noting, however, that this isn’t an improved edition or one with extra content, but simply a straight port of the existing experience.

If you’ve never heard about What Remains of Edith Finch until now, let us fill you in. The game puts players in control of Edith Finch as she explores her family home and relives the final moments of family members. It’s a touching, emotional, and magical experience that we very much enjoyed. You can check out our full impressions of the game in our review here.
