This week’s issue of Famitsu revealed that Dragon’s Dogma will be coming to the current generation of consoles this year. However, the announcement has only been made for Japan so far, and there’s no word on whether the port will be coming stateside.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is an enhanced re-release of Capcom’s action RPG, and it was originally released on the PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2013. The game received a PC port on Steam a few years after that. Dark Arisen came packed with new dungeons and quests to explore, and it’s widely regarded as the definitive edition of the game. The game became so successful that Capcom eventually released an MMO for it, though that game is still exclusive only to Japan, and shows no signs of coming west.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will be arriving on PS4 and Xbox One later this year in Japan. We’ll keep you updated as more info comes our way.
