Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is one of EA’s biggest games coming in 2016. This successor to the cult classic hit Mirror’s Edge from 2008, carries over the same type of free running gameplay that the first game was known for.
EA and DICE have released a new story trailer today, showing Faith in her role as a runner and what she’s doing in Catalyst. Here’s the official description of Catalyst,
“Faith Connors is a self-assured thrill-seeker and one of the best Runners in the city of Glass. But Faith’s carefree days are numbered. As she crosses paths with the evil Gabriel Kruger and the city’s oppressive Conglomerate, Faith finds herself running for something far more important. Playing Mirror’s Edge Catalyst, you’ll experience a rich storyline with a heroine-to-be fighting for both the city and herself. Use the fluid movement and your combat skills to be the Catalyst of change.”
EA has also officially opened sign-ups for the game’s closed beta, which will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. There’s no exact date on when the beta will be as of yet.
Mirror’s Edge Catalyst is scheduled or launch on May 24 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Take a look at the new story trailer down below. Are you excited to finally see Faith return? Are you hoping to get into the closed beta and try the game out early? Let us know down in the comments!
