Izanagi Games reached out with a press release to make a couple of relevant announcements about its upcoming game Yurukill: The Calumniation Games.
The game, which was originally scheduled to release in 2020, will now launch in 2021. That being said, we also get new platforms. It’ll come for PS5 and Nintendo Switch on top of PC and PS4, which were announced at Tokyo Game Show 2019.
Titled in Japanese Enzai Shikkou Yuugi: Yurukill, the game is written by Homura Kawamoto, whom you may know as the author of the popular manga Kakegurui — Compulsive Gambler.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, it’s a mix between shoot ’em up and escape adventure, with the bullet hell parts developed by well-known studio G-rev ( which you may know for gems like Senkou no Ronde and Under Defeat).
The character design is by mangaka Hiro Kiyohara, who worked on Valkyria Revolution, while the music is by Yuko Komiyama, known for the Monster Hunter and Mega Man series.
At the moment, a precise release date for next year’s launch has not been announced, so we’ll have to wait for further information from Izanagi Games.
