Xbox One S Fortnite Special Edition Bundle Coming This Friday

Microsoft has announced a brand new stylishly-purple Xbox One S and it is available this Friday.

Dubbed the Xbox One S Fortnite Battle Royale Special Edition Bundle, this one terabyte console will be available on the Microsoft Store and participating stores on Friday, June 7 for $299. Featuring a deep purple look, which is featured on the controller included as well, this Fortnite bundle comes with the Legendary Dark Vertex Cosmetic suit, the Epic Dark Vertex glider, the Rare Dark Vertex pickaxe and 2000 V-Bucks. 

According to the blog post announcement, this skin, glider and pickaxe are available for use in the Fortnite Battle Royale and Fornite Creative modes. While the bundle is very Fortnite-themed, owners will still need to download the free-to-play game once they’ve got their console connected to the internet.

For anyone with this console looking to play Fortnite Save the World, that game will need to be purchased individually.

To ensure you’re able to play Fortnite once the system is set up, the bundle includes a one-month trial of Xbox Game Pass and a one-month trial of Xbox Live Gold.

If you’re interested in purchasing the console, you can do so through the Microsoft Store for $299 to receive free shipping and hassle-free returns, according to the blog post. Of course, this console will be available in other stores as well.
