Announced last April, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is a single membership containing a subscription to Xbox Live Gold, a subscription for Xbox Game Pass, and a subscription for the recently announced Xbox Game Pass for PC according to the plan’s description.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can now be purchased for $14.99 per month, though Microsoft has discounted one month of the service down to $1. Xbox Live Gold costs $9.99 per month or $59.99 per year and $9.99 per month for Xbox Game Pass on Xbox One, while Microsoft also revealed today that the PC counterpart of Game Pass will be $4.99 per month during the beta.

Subscribers will receive a 30-day notice before this introductory period ends for the beta and Xbox Game Pass for PC will revert to its standard price of $9.99 per month.

Existing Xbox Live Gold or Game Pass members who upgrade to Ultimate will not be able to convert back to separate memberships, and redeeming codes for Xbox Live Gold on the Ultimate account will be “subject to a conversion ratio” based on how many months the code offers.

Users on ResetEra have been posting their upgrade paths and have seemingly figured out the conversion ratio: adding one month of Xbox Live Gold converts to 20 days of Ultimate, three months to two months of Ultimate, and 12 months to four months.

Microsoft is sure to talk more about the plan during its E3 press conference beginning today at 4 p.m. ET, which will be livestreamed to various platforms.
