PlatinumGames fans have taken the Kickstarter campaign for The Wonderful 101: Remastered by storm, pushing the developer to add one more stretch goal.

Yesterday, the PlatinumGames launched the campaign to fund a remaster of its 2013 action game on Wii U for Nintendo Switch, PC, and PS4.

The campaign passed the first stretch goal for the PC version at $250,000 in approximately 40 minutes, then rocketing past the $500,000 milestone unlocking the PS4 version in less than three hours.

This compelled PlatinumGames to add two additional goals at $1,000,000 and $1,500,000, but the overwhelming response has not stopped.

The Wonderful 101’s Kickstarter has already broken the million dollars, and it’s at $1,129,375 from 1,730 backers the moment of this writing.

In response, PlatinumGames added just another stretch goal at $1,750,000, promising a “remix soundtrack” featuring a “secret special guest.”

No further details were mentioned, but since we’re less than a day in with a month to go on the clock, there are few doubts that this further goal (and possibly more) will be achieved.

Incidentally, yesterday we also learned that PlatinumGames has four (likely self-published) projects in store, three of which have not been revealed yet. We’ll have to wait and see what they have hidden up their sleeve.
