Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is set to be released later this week and we can’t wait to grab a shotgun and start blasting away at Nazis. If you’re a PC gamer, then you’ll be interested to know that Bethesda has revealed the minimum and recommended PC requirements for the game.
The requirements are as follows:
“Can I Play, Daddy?” Minimum Requirements (720p and 60 fps at low settings)
- CPU: Intel Core i7-3770/AMD FX-8350 or better
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 770 4GB/AMD Radeon R9 290 4GB or better
- RAM: 8GB
- OS: Win7, 8.1, or 10 (64-Bit versions)
- Storage: 55GB
“I Am Death Incarnate” Recommended Requirements (1080p and 60 fps at high settings)
- CPU: Intel Core i7-4770/AMD FX-9370 or better
- GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 6GB/AMD Radeon RX 470 4GB or better
- RAM: 16GB
- OS: Win7, 8.1, or 10 64-Bit
- Storage: 55GB
As DSOGaming reports, Bethesda has also listed the target resolution and framerate for the minimum and recommended specs. Those with less powerful PCs will want to run the game at 60fps on 720p whilst those with the recommended gear can run it at 1080p with high settings.
The game will also feature advanced graphics settings which will allow players to toggle the following:
- Lights
- Shadows
- Directional Occlusion
- Reflections
- Decals
- Motion Blur
- Image Streaming
- Volumetric Quality
- Decal Filtering
- Deferred Rendering
- Chromatic Aberration
- Depth of Field
- Resolution Scaling
The game will also support the the id Tech 6 Engine and the Vulkan API. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is set to be released on Oct. 27 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
