Sega has revealed details about the official soundtrack to Valkyria: Azure Revolution (otherwise known as Valkyria Revolution in the West), which will be releasing in Japan alongside the game itself on January 19th next year.
The physical copy of the soundtrack features two discs, and will cost 3,024 yen with taxes, which translates to around $25 at current rates.
It will boast of all the game’s tunes, as composed by Yasunori Mitsuda; the legendary musician known for his work on titles like Chrono Trigger, Mario Party and Soul Sacrifice.
No word yet on a worldwide release for the soundtrack, though we do know that the game is due to launch in the region sometime in Spring of next year, so perhaps we might expect to see it around that time.
If you’re already finding it a struggle to wait till then, you might find some consolation in the revealed cover art for the soundtrack below, which is rather pretty.
Valkyria Revolution will first launch on PS4 and PS Vita in Japan next month, and will hopefully be available not too long after that in the West, for PS4, Xbox One and PS Vita.
