Going on the official website and clicking on “Voice Previews” you can hear Rean Schwarzer, Alisa Reinford, Elliot Craig, Emma Millstein, Fie Claussel, Michias Reigniz, and the latest additions Millium Orion and Sara Valestein.

While the samples are exclusively in English, it’s worth mentioning that the Japanese voice track will still be included in the package.

The localization of the series has been a long affair, with a large gap between II and III as it went through a change in western publisher from Xseed to NIS America. We don’t know what happened behind the scenes, but over two years will have passed since the Japanese release when The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III will launch in English this fall.

In the meanwhile, Xseed is still retaining the rights for the first and second games, and they just announced the coming of the PS4 version.

Nihon Falcom already released IV in Japan, and is preparing to move on with two projects in development. Unfortunately, we have no idea about when we’ll see the end of the Cold Steel series in the west.
