Total War: Three Kingdoms Finally Lets Us Trade Regions Once Again

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

The most relevant example of a feature that was removed with no apparent reason, and constantly requested by the fans was the ability to trade regions. We often found ourselves trying to help a precious ally but gobbling up their former territory instead, with no way to give it back. Three Kingdoms finally brings it back, with all of its bargaining power and useful applications.

A video released today showcases just that, alongside coalitions and military alliances. Looks like the diplomatic game might finally become fun again in Total War.

You can enjoy the video below. If you’re unfamiliar with Total War: Three Kingdoms, it’s the newest historical game of the franchise set in ancient China, and it seems very promising after the awesome Warhammer and Warhammer II that weren’t historical, and the rather disappointing Thrones of Britannia.

The game launches March 7, 2019, exclusively for PC.
