The trailers showcase two different modes of the game.

We start with the “Memory” mode that is a single-player mode allowing you to get used to the game while controlling the main character.

The second trailer features the “Campaign” mode that is co-op, prompting players to get through maps alongside with friends.

You can check them out below.

If you’re unfamiliar with Tokyo Ghoul Re: CALL to EXIST, it prompts the player to pick up the role of a ghoul or investigator in a battle for survival set across the anime series Tokyo Ghoul, Tokyo Ghoul√A , and Tokyo Ghoul:Re, aired respectively in 2014, 2015, and 2018.

The franchise started as a manga by Sui Ishida in 2011, serialized on Weekly Young Jump until 2014. Re: was also sparked by the manga serialized between 2014 and 2018.

Forays into other media like light novels, a live-action film, and more are also a thing, making this an actual cross-media franchise.

If you want to see more of the upcoming game, you can also enjoy the previous gameplay trailer and a recent character reveal.

It’ll launch on November 15, 2019 for PS4 and PC.
