The world map for an upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 has reportedly leaked today. The map, which you can check out below, first appeared on NeoGaf, and though later removed, Techradar reports to have corroborated the image with an independent source.
According to Techradar, “a source close to the development of the new Red Dead game has now confirmed to us that the map is indeed the real deal, revealing that this is a ‘very recent’ art direction map for the upcoming title.” The game will reportedly be a prequel to Red Dead Redemption, with this map lying just east to that of the previous game.
Though there’s been no confirmation of a followup to Red Dead Redemption, it’s become one of the most expected unannounced sequels, especially after Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick called Red Dead a “permanent franchise.”
