The Snarky Gunslinger Makes his Last Stand in new Destiny 2: Forsaken Trailer

Though the end may come for Destiny 2’s Cayde-6, the game’s new Forsaken trailer shows he won’t go down without a fight.

Streamed by Developer Activision via the game’s official YouTube account, the trailer sees Cayde-6 respond to a massive prison break by eight Barons from the Prison of Elders. Surrounded by enemies, he does his best to fend them off with split-second reflexes, masterful gunplay and a liberal use of fire-infused throwing knives. Eventually though, the odds and injuries become too much for him, forcing him to make one last stand against his foes.

The trailer, and Cayde-6’s demise, set the stage for the next DLC installment in the online multiplayer shooter. Out for revenge, the player must make their way across a new location to track down the perpetrators of the prison break, take down the escaped Barons and uncover Awoken secrets within the Tangled Shore and the Dreaming City. Players will also have access to new supers, weapons and gear to further enhance their gaming experience.
