Star Citizen Video Shows ROC Mining Vehicle & Massive Explosions; More Non-Combat Vehicles Teased

Star Citizen developer Cloud Imperium Games released a new video about its growing space simulator.

The video starts by showing off the Greycat ROC mining vehicle that will become available in the upcoming Alpha 3.10 (which is currently being tested in the PTU).

Apparently, there will be more “professional” non-combat ground vehicles coming to the game in the future. 

The second part of the video focuses on the process of creating massive explosions when some of the game’s larger ships are blown-up.

In other Star Citizen news, the crowdfunding total is now way past $306 million.

To be more precise, it’s sitting on 306,432,442 at the moment of this writing. 

The number of registered accounts is now over 2.7 million (currently 2,744,690).

As usual, it’s known that not all of them are paying players. The number includes free accounts created for a variety of reasons, including free fly events.
