(Update): Insomniac made a mistake and apparently New Game Plus as well as update 1.07 will not be releasing today but in the near future.
Insomniac Games has announced that update 1.07 will be released tomorrow for Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS4. This update will bring with it loads of new content that will surely keep you playing as the super web-slinger until the cows come home.
The biggest feature coming to Spider-Man via the new update is the New Game Plus (NG+) mode and the ultimate difficulty mode. NG+ allows you to replay Peter Parker’s adventure from the beginning with all of your powers, skills, mods, suits, and upgrades unlocked from the get-go. With these two updates, there will be two new trophies as well. So for those that have already obtained the coveted platinum trophy, you better get ready to grab these other two so you can truly achieve maximum bragging rights. One trophy is unlocked by completing the game on ultimate difficulty and the other by finishing the game in NG+.
“Additionally, many of you have requested the ability to rotate Stickers in Photo Mode, and we’re pleased to let you know what’s included, along with a few additional bug fixes, in Update 1.07. We’ve also tuned Friendly Difficulty based on your feedback to be more friendly.”
Spider-Man is out now for the PS4, and you can also look forward to the first downloadable story content starring Black Cat, which releases on Oct 23.
