Rime Is No Longer a PS4 Exclusive, Gets Gorgeous New Trailer

Maybe not so alone.
This article is over 7 years old and may contain outdated information

After a long period of no news about it, Tequila Works’ Rime has gotten a new trailer that essentially functions as a re-reveal, courtesy of IGN. Check it out below and be wowed (or rather, re-wowed) at the self described “part-Zelda, part-Last Guardian” title.

In Rime, you play a young boy all alone on an island. Or at least, that’s what it seems to be, as the boy makes his way through the different parts of the island, he keeps seeing a figure in a red hood who just seems to be out of the kid’s reach. Along with learning more about the cryptic person stuck with him on the island, the boy will have to contend with ancient mechanical beings, monsters, and shadow creatures. You know, as one does.

Rime’s new trailer also confirms a rumor that had been floating around for some time now. Not only will it be coming to the PS4 later this year, but it’ll also be arriving on the PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It’s unclear if the other versions of the game will arrive at the same time as the PS4 version, but if that’s the case, we’ll let you know.
