Original Story: Bad news for monster hunters and dragonball fighters, as of this morning, all of the PlayStation Network’s functions are down except for PlayStation Vue.

According to a post on Sony’s “Ask PlayStation” Twitter, the company is currently investigating the issue and will keep players updated. The PlayStation Network has faced several outages over the past week and this one comes at a particularly bad time for the many players who are out exploring in Monster Hunter World or fighting in Dragonball FighterZ.

As far as Sony has revealed, the outage is not part of scheduled maintenance, so it’s difficult to predict how long the PlayStation Network will be down. Friday evenings are usually the start of many players’ gaming weekends, so this is sure to cause an inconvenience for anyone planning on purchasing, downloading or diving into January’s biggest release, Monster Hunter World.

And if you’re waiting for the PlayStation Network to come back online to engage in some monster hunting, make sure to read up on all the tips and tricks from our guides before you head out on your hunt.
