The trailer celebrates the 25 years of history for the PlayStation brand starting with the original PlayStation and then climbing all the way to PS4.

We get to see the PSP, the PS2, the PS3, and the PS Vita. Yes, even Sony’s beloved but pretty much abandoned (at least by Sony itself, mine still sees quite a bit of action) portable gets its moment in the spotlight.

You can check it out below.

The trailer ends with “See you in 2020,” which is certainly quite appropriate considering that we’re waiting for the final reveal of the PlayStation 5, which is scheduled to release in the next Holiday season.

Speaking of PlayStation 5, we recently heard a few interesting comments by way of Sony Interactive Entertainment Head of Independent Developer Initiative Shuhei Yoshida, while Kadokawa Games is negotiating the development of a game for the console.

It’ll be interesting to see what tidings 2020 will bring for PlayStation.

He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
