Phantasy Star Online 2 Reveals “Mother’s Disciples” SG Scratch Collection

Today Sega announced a brand new SG Scratch collection for the English version of its MMORPG Phantasy Star Online 2.

The collection is titled “Mother’s Disciples” and it includes a mix of rather sharp outfits. 

It launches on September 9 at 12:00 am PDT and ends on October 3.

If you’re unfamiliar with SG Scratch, that’s basically the game’s loot box-like mechanic that you can get through spending Star Gems.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is available in the west for Xbox One and PC. A few of days ago, we heard that the western version enjoyed a “strong start” and that it passed one million players.

You can also check out content just announced for Japan and likely coming west down the line.

In the meanwhile, Sega recently announced Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, which will basically be a new game operated in parallel with the original Phantasy Star Online 2.

The original game will, in turn, receive a visual upgrade to bring it in line with New Genesis’ graphics. Players will be able to use the same accounts and characters to play both games.
