The screenshots were released on the game’s official Twitter account (sources 1, 2, 3, 4) also providing more information about the setting, powers, and enemies.

You can check them out below. Interestingly, they were distributed in super-high 6K resolution.

Outriders

“Built inside deep ravines, Rift Town was built as a response to the Anomaly Storms that ravaged the First City. Walking Through the streets of this place, however, reveals the wretched conditions people live in; neighbourhoods of slums and the threat of death in every corner.”

Outriders

“Use your Pyromancer powers to turn all obstacles to ash – including living threats on Enoch.”

Outriders

“Moloch’s Altered powers seem to have twisted him to a wretched being. Barely recognisable as a human, wielding fire with frightening skill.”

The First Human Colony on Enoch has been long abandoned by the authority and most of its inhabitants. Many insurgents now roam here scavenging for scraps whilst navigating through pockets of radiation and monster nests.

If you’re unfamiliar with the game, you can read an official description below directly from Square Enix.

“Outriders is a 1-3 player co-op RPG shooter set in an original, dark and desperate sci-fi universe. As mankind bleeds out in the trenches of Enoch, you’ll create your own Outrider and embark on a journey across the hostile planet. With rich storytelling spanning a diverse world, you’ll leave behind the slums and shanty towns of the First City and traverse forests, mountains and desert in the pursuit of a mysterious signal.

Combining intense gunplay with violent powers and an arsenal of increasingly twisted weaponry and gear-sets, Outriders offers countless hours of gameplay from one of the finest shooter developers in the industry – People Can Fly.”

Outriders was originally revealed at E3 2019, and then went back under the radar until a few weeks ago, when it received a cinematic trailer. We recently gota gameplay reveal and several related videos, alongside more clips and tons of information form the developers shared at PAX East.

Of course, you shouldn’t forget to read our hands-on preview, which also includes more commentary from the devs.

Outriders will be one of the first cross-gen games and it’ll launch in the 2020 Holiday season for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
