New Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak Trailer Debuts at The Game Awards

Today during The Game Awards Pre-Show livestream, a brand-new teaser trailer for the Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion showed off new gameplay and other new footage.

The beginning of the trailer showed a short cinematic with a Zinogre-looking monster attacking a group of hunters. It then cut to the logo screen and then quickly over to another cinematic.

This cinematic featured some of the same hunters from the last clip on a ship heading back to the port of what they called Outpost Elgado. But that was all that was seen in this teaser trailer for Sunbreak.

This trailer shown off at The Game Awards was just barely shorter than the original reveal trailer which came out just over two months ago. You can find that trailer right here.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak launches on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam starting Summer of 2022. As this is an expansion for the full game, you’ll need that full version of the game to play Sunbreak.
