Los Angeles-based visual novel company Sekai Project has been taking care of the publishing of the series on Valve’s digital distribution platform until now, but Tokyo-based aNCHOR (which includes Muv-Luv developer âge) will be taking back direct control on February 17, 2020,

This includes all the games already published on Steam as follows:

  • Muv-Luv
  • Muv-Luv Alternative
  • Muv-Luv photonflowers*

That being said, this will not have any impact on customers as mentioned in the note below.

“This transfer will have no effect on customers who have purchased the game, and no action is required on the player’s part. Please continue to enjoy your games without interruption.”

We also have a detailed report of the 20th-anniversary event recently hosted in Tokyo, which was rich with announcements, including the reveal of Muv-Luv Integrate, the announcement of the action game code-named Project Mikhail, an update on Muv-Luv Unlimited The Day After and on the Android version of the original trilogy, the tease of the reboot of Kimi ga Nozomu Eien, and the announcement of the Muv-Luv Alternative anime.
