Today Idea Factory International announced a release date for the Nintendo Switch remaster of Moero Chronicle, titled Moero Chronicle Hyper.
The fanservice-rich dungeon-crawling JRPG will launch on Nintendo’s console on April 26, exclusively in digital form via eShop.
Not only it will be remastered in HD resolution, but it will also include four new features, which have been detailed as follows.
- Vibration Function –Â Added for the “Bumping Scratch” session
- New Items –Â Stat-boosting items for your party
- Autopilot Mode –Â Allows players to pick a coordinate on the dungeon map and automatically heads toward that direction
- ALL Original Art and Event CGs – Originally released on the PlayStation Vita and Steam version, the Nintendo Switch release will also include all original art and event CGs.
If you’re unfamiliar with the title, the original Moero Chronicle game was launched for PS Vita only in Japan and Asia between 2014 and 2015, and then a PC port on Steam finally brought it to a worldwide audience in 2017.
The remastered “Hyper” version has already been released in Japan in January, and western gamers won’t have to wait too long in order to enjoy it.
While you wait, you can enjoy the original trailer for Japan, and a batch of screenshots and info which came with the initial announcement of the western localization.
