Third-party developers had new reveals to share about upcoming airport scenery add-ons for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

We start with Scenic Routes, which officially announced Kefalonia Anna Pollatou Airport (LGKF) in Greece. The airport was teased a while ago and comes on the tail of the developer’s excellent rendition of Ljubljana Airport.

It’s definitely very a very scenic airport serving a popular holiday destination, and it hosts many seasonal flights from all over Europe in the summer.

“This airport was always underserved in the flight sim community and it was time it got the coverage it deserved and needed. The new terminal will be featured inside & out, along with our hyperRealistic ground process. You will feel every bit of this historic airport (and all of its inconsistencies).”

The developer is targeting late Q1 2022 or early Q2 for this release.

Microsoft Flight Simulator Kefalonia

We also take a look at new screenshots of Sønderborg Airport (EKSB) in Denmark, which is in development by SimNord.

To be specific, we see the surrounding scenery, including the Alssund Bridge.
