If you’re unfamiliar with the industry lingo, it means that the development of the data that will be shipped on the disk has been concluded, and the game is ready for its release. There may still be a day-one patch, but what will be printed on the physical release is ready and finalized.

The announcement was made on Twitter, as you can see below.

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will expand the story of Insomniac’s super-popular Marvel’s Spider-Man aiming the spotlight on the titular hero Miles Morales.

It’s going to be a PS5 launch title (on Nov. 12 in the United States, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, and South Korea, and Nov.19 in Europe and the rest of the world), but will also come to PS4.

Here’s how Sony describes the game:

“In the latest adventure in the Marvel’s Spider-Man universe, teenager Miles Morales is adjusting to his new home while following in the footsteps of his mentor, Peter Parker, as a new Spider-Man.

But when a fierce power struggle threatens to destroy his new home, the aspiring hero realizes that with great power, there must also come great responsibility. To save all of Marvel’s New York, Miles must take up the mantle of Spider-Man and own it.”
